erudity.net » assault http://www.erudity.net prattlings on via nattering nabobs Sun, 25 Apr 2010 07:19:19 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.9.2 en hourly 1 I guess that’ll happen. http://www.erudity.net/2008/08/10/i-guess-thatll-happen/ http://www.erudity.net/2008/08/10/i-guess-thatll-happen/#comments Sun, 10 Aug 2008 06:11:26 +0000 vic http://www.erudity.net/?p=21 Afte the Black Keys concert tonight, I gave my car keys to my friend Melissa and hung out with my friend Sean and his girlfriends and friends.  Stupidly I decided to walk home from downtown.  I made it about one mile from my house - intersection of Granby and Monticello - and I got a fist to the back of my head while on the phone with my mother.  I predictably dropped the phone and went down, but was immediately back up and swinging/maneuvering towards my attacker.  I attempted to chase him down for 15-20 seconds, at which point he was joined by a second assailant.  I didn't care and kept moving closer to the first guy to BEAT HIS ASS.  At this point another car's driver yelled out "CALL 911!  CALL 911!"  At this point both of the jerkassess beat feet back to their differing cars and sped off.  The "call 911" car ended up driving me home for the remaining mile.  I lost my $40 watch (that I got for my winging from my sister, but whatever) and recovered my phone from the ground.
